Ideal for actors who are complete beginners wanting to prepare for auditions or for those who wish to improve and refresh their knowledge.

This short course is designed to help performers of all levels to prepare, practice and enhance core skills associated with self-tape auditions and improving cold reading skills that are needed at script read throughs, auditions and early rehearsals.

The following course is tailored to the individual and designed by professional acting coaches and directors with over 25 years worth of industry experience.Taught by qualified tutors who hold postgraduate higher degrees within this field of study, are members of the British Actor’s Union Equity and remain connected to the industry.

 

Tutors offer the unique option for students to submit external self-tape video projects for professional feedback if required. Complete beginners welcome.

SHORT COURSE  

 

This short course can be comfortably completed in a month with 60 + tutor monitored units. Requiring a study contribution of two hours per week to complete practical work, or at a student's convenience and pace whilst allowing ample time for tutor feedback.

 

This short course must be completed within 3 months.

SELF-PACED LEARNING

​

Self-paced learning is ideal for students who cannot commit to attending a class or set live training due to work patterns or changing commitments. Due to the nature of the subject material the pressure to be online and ready for video live training is also removed, optional additional video assignments are available depending upon a student's level of personal confidence and preference. Self-pacing allows students to access pre-recorded video materials at their leisure, whilst still having interactive options, monitoring and feedback with their tutor.

Places are open to international students. The course is taught in English. Course can be commenced at anytime on demand. Access to short course content is 3 months from student's start date ( option to extend is available ) approximate duration for students is 1 month part-time at a comfortable self pace with a student setting their own schedule. Course access will be provided by a digital link and password.
